The 2019 Dodge Charger is available in five different trim levels: SXT, GT, R/T, R/T Scat Pack, and the SRT Hellcat. Take a look at the features of each to determine the best trim level for you.

Exterior Features

An aggressive grille and seamless LED racetrack taillamps are found on all models, while the GT, R/T, and R/T Scat Pack trim levels include an aluminum power bulge on the hood. This feature combines form with function and ensures the engine runs at its optimal temperature. The Hellcat trim includes a functional hood scoop and dual air extractors. The R/T Scat Pack stands out with a one-piece satin black performance spoiler as standard equipment.

The SXT rides on 19-inch wheels, and 20-inch black wheels are available with the Blacktop Appearance Package. The GT, R/T, R/T Scat Pack, and Hellcat have a sportier stance with 20-inch alloy wheels.   

Power

The 2019 Charger has plenty of power under the hood. The SXT and GT trims have a 3.6-liter V-6 24-valve VVT engine that pumps out 300 horsepower. The R/T has a 5.7-liter V-8 HEMI MDS VVT engine with 370 horsepower. The R/T Scat Pack has a 392 V-8 SRT HEMI MDS engine that gets 485 horsepower and the SRT Hellcat has a 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI V-8 SRT engine and cranks out a mighty 707 horsepower!

Performance

The SXT trim level of the 2019 Charger is available in either all-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive. All other trim levels are available in rear-wheel drive only. All engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic w/OD and auto-manual transmission. You’ll enjoy a smooth ride in the Charger thanks to the performance suspension system that comes standard on the GT and R/T models and the touring suspension that comes standard on the SXT trim levels. For those that want an even tighter ride, the GT features sport mode and the SRT Hellcat has a performance-tuned steering system.

Interior

Slip into the 2019 Charger’s cabin and you’ll instantly feel luxurious. Power eight-way driver seats and four-way driver lumbar adjustment are standard for all trim levels.

The SXT and GT have front sport bucket seats with optional heated rear seats. The SRT Hellcat includes leather-trimmed seats and heated front- and second-row seats as standard. Houndstooth cloth sport seats are available in the SXT and Nappa/Alcantara performance seats are optional on the GT and R/T. Power four-way lumbar adjustable passenger seats are available as an option on the SXT and SRT Hellcat models and you can opt for heated front seats in the Scat Pack trim.

Infotainment

You can jam to your favorite tunes or listen to podcasts through six speakers that are standard in all trims. For more boom, opt for the available Alpine audio group with subwoofer, which is available in the SXT and GT trims.

All trims also include access to navigation, Sirius XM satellite radio, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay via Uconnect. The GT, R/T, R/T Scat Pack, and SRT Hellcat trim levels also include HD radio as standard. The SXT includes a 7-inch touch screen display, while the SXT, GT, R/T, R/T Scat Pack, and SRT Hellcat trims include an 8.4-inch display; it’s optional on the SXT.
